1. Order Processing

All orders are processed during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation. Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will be notified accordingly.

Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.


2. Delivery Areas

Starsun Import & Export delivers throughout South Africa.

For deliveries outside South Africa, please contact us directly to arrange international shipping and receive a custom quotation.


3. Shipping Methods

We use reputable third-party courier services to ensure safe and timely delivery of all goods.

Delivery options may include:

  • Standard courier delivery
  • Economy road freight (for bulk orders)
  • Customer collection from our premises in Benoni (by arrangement)

Shipping method selection may depend on the size, weight, and destination of the order.


4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Gauteng: 1–2 business days
  • Major Cities (outside Gauteng): 2–4 business days
  • Outlying Areas: 3–7 business days

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or peak periods.


5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Order size and weight
  • Delivery destination
  • Selected shipping method

Shipping fees will either be calculated at checkout or provided via quotation before order confirmation.

For bulk, wholesale, or special orders, shipping will be quoted separately.


6. Order Tracking

Where available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched. Customers may use the tracking number to monitor delivery progress directly with the courier.


7. Risk & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery. Customers are responsible for inspecting goods upon receipt.

If goods are visibly damaged during transit, please:

  1. Note the damage with the courier at delivery.
  2. Notify us within 24 hours.
  3. Provide photographs of the damaged packaging and products.

8. Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive incorrect or missing items, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will investigate and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.


9. Delays

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, Starsun Import & Export cannot be held responsible for delays caused by:

  • Courier service disruptions
  • Public holidays
  • Force majeure events
  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
